What is the Lotus Building System?
The Lotus Building System is how we are able to fabricate and deliver our products. Our building system allows us combine modules—the building blocks of our structures—to make homes that fit every need. These modules are highly flexible, making it possible to go as small as 530 ft2, or combine them into a multiplex.
By using the Lotus Building System, your project can progress faster by taking advantage of parallel processes, efficient manufacturing, and qualified trades. Our system combines the advantages of panelized (manufacturing homes in pieces to be put together on side) and volumetric (building homes as rooms transported with empty space) prefabrication. By folding our modules, we efficiently deliver units with high completion. Our modules are folded at our factory in preparation for delivery to site to be brought to lock-up by the general contractor in as little as 6 hours.
We also use our digital project management platform to provide transparency to landowners. Our dashboard gives keeps you updated with ongoing work on your project, making it easy to know what stage your project is in.

We make sure your site is ready for your new home. Our local partners will ensure foundations are set and that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing connections are ready.
Step 3: Fabrication
Our factory builds your home in our controlled facility. By building in our facility, we ensure every build meets our high standards with precision manufacturing.
Step 4: Logistics & Coordination
We use our project management platform to ensure a smooth delivery of your home. We work with local partners to arrange the transport equipment and labour needs.
Step 5: Install + Finish
We secure your prefabricated home in place and get it ready for finishing. Then, alongside local partners, we ensure the finishing is done to your customizations.
