FAQ

What's the difference between Modular & Traditional Homes?

Both use the same type of building materials and craftsmanship, however, the way the home is built is the difference. Modular homes are built in a climate-controlled environment and then transported to the site for final assembly, whereas traditionally built homes are constructed entirely on-site. This will ensure cost certainty, faster timelines, and less on-site disruption.

What is included in the price?

Our prices include the structure, finishes (exterior and interior), appliances, and on-site assembly within a 2 hour total drive radius. Utility connections, excavation, and delivery are extra.

Do you offer financing?

Currently, we do not offer financing – however, we are working alongside multiple credit unions and banks to provide viable financing options for our customers. For the lower mainland for example, we work alongside Vancity to provide you financing which is tied to the primary dwelling on your property.

Where can you deliver?

These homes can be delivered anywhere in BC. With our folding technology, our unit can be compacted to the size of a small shipping container. This allows us to transport the home by road, barge, or even air.

Can I live in this home year-round?

Yes! We’ve designed this home with comfort in mind. Our homes are guaranteed to be ready for weather conditions within the lower mainland. However, we are able to outfit our homes to meet municipal requirements throughout BC. Our Homes currently meet 80% of all snow load requirements in BC.

What kind of foundation do I need?

The home requires a form of the foundation either as an 8” thick perimeter wall or 10 to 15 ft piles that are driven into the ground. Other foundation types may work as well, contact us to learn more!

What do I need in order to buy one?

You’ll need a parcel of land, and the funds to purchase our product and for pre-construction. We work with you to figure out the rest!
